Morbier, also known as Comtoise clocks have the unique characteristic of ringing the hour twice, the second time two minutes from the first. This clock has a bell chime that also rings once on the half hour. Double weight driven, runs approximately eight days. In running condition with a winding crank included. From France, circa 1860's.
