Description

A petit cherry French Provincial bonnetiere from the "Pays de la Loire" region of France. Louis XV overtones, with carved flo ral designs and garlands. A single double raised panel door with lift-off steel hinges and three interior shelves. These pieces were originally made to house the tall bonnets women of the region wore at the time. Later, they evolved for many uses, such as, a pantry in country kitchens.
