A fine silk embroidered picture within a reverse glass painted mount and giltwood frame. The needlework picture is depicting a Biblical Scene: Finding Moses in the Reeds. Embroidered and painted in silk and wool in tones of gold, light blue, white, beige, red. It is accompanied by a hand written document in ink on paper which states: "This work was done by Miss Christina Whitehall at Miss Henrys School at Montrose, in the year of 1822. Elisabeth Whitehole, April 1884"
