This chair is the best form of its type with magnificently carved swan heads. This chair contradicts the perception of antique seating furniture not being comfortable, as it is an extremely comfortable armchair with a deep seat and great lumbar support. The surface is an old one overlayed over time and reupholstered in modern horsehair fabric similar to its original. The casters are original and this chair has had no alterations or breaks whatsoever.
