Spectacula r Minton hand painted, artist signed dinner service for 12, with 5 piece place settings. A lovely ivory border surrounds each center scene. Signed by J. E. Dean, one of Minton's finest artists, the vibrant enamels depict classic paintings of The Hunt. The borders are acid-etched gold framing each plate. The set consists of 60 pieces in all: 12 dinner plates (10 1/4"), 12 luncheon/salad plates (9"), 12 rimmed soup bowls (9"), 12 dessert plates (7 3/4") and 12 bread and butter plates (6 1/4"), ca 1920's. The service creates a unique and dramatically themed table setting and is in excellent condition.
