Created by John Garthy in Aberdeen Scotland sometime between 1799 and 1810, this handsome George III tall case clock features an engraved satin steel face with dials for date and seconds. The bonnet is adorned with a swan neck broken pediment supported by two full, reeded columns and two halves at the back. This motif is carried down to the quarter columns flanking the case, which rests on a plinth base.
