Really wonderful Adam And Eve sampler made by Phebe Miles, dated 1799.
Adam & Eve under the apple tree with the snake looking on as she hands him the apple!
In the upper scene is a shepherd with shepherd's crook, sheep dog and flock.
Silk on very fine linen ground.
