This doré bronze figural mantle clock features a beautifully articulated depiction of Cupid over a circular enamel dial with Roman numerals. The flat gold patina of Cupid's body is contrasted by a highly burnished gold for his arm band, wings, cloth and quiver, making for an excellent study in gilding.

Circa 1840, it measures: Height: 13.5", Width: 17", Depth: 5.5".

Price: $ 5,150
