Description

This attractively carved whale's tooth features an American military officer wearing a uniform of the late 1840's with an American flag or banner to his side with the reverse depicting a garden bench with flower pot and leafy vines above. Length: 5 1/2" Condition: typical age cracks and some chips to the bottom edge. One horizontal age crack near tip of tooth. Lovely original patina and color.
