David Corley Interior Design
After graduating from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a degree in commercial art, David Corley began his career designing executive offices. Before long, David was designing the homes of many of those same executives. Word quickly spread of David's talents, and several decades later David Corley is still a nationally recognized licensed designer and member of ASID, whose work has garnered much praise and many accolades.
David Corley Interior Design is based in the heart of Dallas' design district, but participates in projects around the country, as well as in North Texas. The firm offers a full line of design services as well as in-house custom furniture finishing and antique restoration.
Dawn Bergan and Julie Stryker, associate designers, have worked along side David for more than ten years. Dawn and Julie are both proficient designers in their own right, and they share David's belief in providing a superior product. The firm prides itself on a level of service that accounts for even the smallest of details.
David Corley Interior Design incorporates classic principles of scale, proportion, color, and quality in every design and always begins with a good floor plan. We prefer a collaborative approach to design that encourages our clients to develop and hone their own style and taste. We provide value to our clients by discouraging short-lived trends, instead opting for quality and timelessness. The final design ensures a beautiful, comfortable and always functional room. David Corley Interior Design recognizes that the most important element in our designs is the people who use them.
DCID has extensive experience and unparalleled access to European antiques, reproductions, new fine furnishings and exquisite fabrics. The company maintains close relationships with only top-quality suppliers, fine artisans and the best subcontractors. David's own experience and knowledge make him invaluable to clients.
Excellent design that exudes great taste is not limited to any particular design style. Our projects run the gamut from classic to modern, contemporary city apartments to rustic mountain retreats, fifty thousand square foot French chateaus to five hundred square foot studio apartments. Each project is exciting, and each project is uniquely tailored to the individual needs and expectations of our clients.
