Today's pick is a beautiful early 20th century Persian Herez Rug collected by Douglas Samaha in historic Woodbury, Connecticut!  I chose this particular antique rug for its color harmony and balance, design intricacy, clarity of design, texture, and the yarn patina.  Historically rare, perfect, antique rug specimens hold their value and appreciate as time passes.  This well-made Oriental rug is in good condition.  Its market value is currently $15,000 and will not only complete a well designed space, but also can serve to be an investment piece as it increases in value.  What a beauty!
